Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park began as the Orlando Army Station in 1942 and later became the Orlando Navy Training Center in the 1990s. In 1997, it began its transformation into the beautiful community it is today. Baldwin Park is bordered by Winter Park, Audubon Park, and Colonial Town Center and is only minutes from Downtown Orlando.

Baldwin Park contains two large lakes, Lake Baldwin and Lake Susannah, as well as acres of parks. Grab a bike and head to Cady Way Trail, a popular 3.5-mile bike trail that connects Baldwin Park to Winter Park. Want to have a relaxing day at a park? Visit Blue Jacket Park which has a picnic area and pavilions to enjoy lunch. Work up an appetite by visiting their track and field complex, tennis courts, baseball fields, basketball courts, sports fields, or just walking around the fountain plaza and grand stairs.

Baldwin Park is a great place to start and raise a family. The neighborhoods are safe with limited traffic and top-ranking schools. Baldwin Park contains two public schools in the community, Baldwin Park Elementary and Glenridge Middle School, and is close to Winter Park High School. There are also private schools, such as Lake Highland Preparatory School and Trinity Preparatory School.

Baldwin Park has a close-knit community with 18 community clubs including Baldwin Park Kids Club for parents and the Nifty Fifties club. There are tons of activities to be part of, including holiday parades, outdoor concerts, and other events.

Baldwin Park has a wide range of residences to choose from, from large and small single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, accessory units, to stacked flats. In the center of the community lies the town center, which contains most of the retail stores.

The town center is where the Baldwin Park community comes to life. Here you can find anything you may need, including a dry cleaner, bike shop, bank, pharmacy, fitness center, medical center, and restaurants. The two public schools, a church, and other office buildings are also located in the town center. One of the greatest features of Baldwin Park is its walkability. The community was designed to be easily walkable around the residences and to the markets and restaurants.

The foodie scene in Baldwin Park is unbeatable. The Village Center on New Broad Street has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Then, you can satisfy your sweet tooth at Ferris and Foster’s Famous Chocolate Factory, a local favorite with tons of tasty treats. The fun doesn’t end for adults. Adults can enjoy the Winestyles Wine Bar & Market, where you can taste a wide selection of unique wines, or BullFish, a lifestyle store that sells green products as well as food and wine.
