Bay Hill
Bay Hill is a residential golf community with breathtaking lakefront homes on the Butler Chain of Lakes. It is located in the Dr. Philips area about 13 miles southwest of downtown Orlando, 15 miles northeast of Disney World, and on the eastern shore of Lake Tibet.
Due to its hills and valleys, Bay Hill was unable to become a citrus grove like its surrounding neighbors. Not wanting the land to be useless, they came up with the plan to create Bay Hill and its golf course. The community was named after the bay on its north side and the surrounding hills.
Bay Hill offers a wide variety of homes such as single-family, condominiums, lakefront properties, estate homes, and gated communities. The Arnold Palmer Golf Course is 270 acres and has 27 holes with two links, the Champion/Challenger and Charger. Although Bay Hill is a suburban oasis it is close to Central Florida’s popular attractions such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.
