Colonial Town

Colonialtown is an urban-suburban mix with an old-town charm and diverse community. It is located near Winter Park and Winter Garden and is 3 miles northeast of downtown Orlando.
Colonialtown is split up into two neighborhoods, Colonialtown North and Colonialtown South. It is known for its welcoming community and craftsman-style bungalows.

Between Colonialtown North and Colonialtown South, there are numerous highly rated schools to choose from. Families in Colonialtown North can attend Fern Creek Elementary, Howard Middle, Edgewater High School, Winter Park High School, and Cornerstone Academy Charter. Children in Colonialtown South can go to Hillcrest Elementary School, Hope Charter School, Orlando Science Elementary Charter School, Cornerstone Charter School, Howard Middle School, and Winter Park High School.

Enjoy the beautiful nature with your family at Lake Eola Playground, Langford Park, Dickson Azalea Park, and Lake Eola Park. Take a walk on one of the trails or enjoy a quiet picnic while taking in the scenery. Colonialtown Square Park, known for its beautiful greenery and gardens, is perfect for bike riding and enjoying the fresh air.

Explore Harry P. Leu Gardens, a 50-acre botanical garden, and admire the breathtaking flowers and tropical plants. The gardens also host the 19th-century Leu House Museum which is on the list of the National Register of Historic Places. Learn all about the history of the estate and all of the past owners.

Located in Colonialtown North is The Milk District, which started as a small local family dairy farm. It has since grown into a popular spot filled with small businesses and town events. Pick from a wide range of tasty restaurants, including Drunken Monkey, MX Taco, Bad A’s Sandwich, Beefy King, and more! Once you’re full, wash it all down at Whippoorwill Beer House or Southern Craft.

Mills 50, located near Colonialtown South, is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Orlando.
