Named after Dr. Phillip, a successful citrus grower who owned over 5,000 acres of groves in the area, Dr. Phillips is now an essential location that sits in between Downtown Orlando and the theme parks such as Universal Studios Florida, Walt Disney World, Seaworld, and Volcano Bay. The town has easy access to main roads such as I-4 and International Drive.
